Owning and running our own business has always been an individual dream of ours. After getting married, opening a studio that caters to both men and women was a no-brainer.

Together, we bring years of experience catering to barber and salon services, but with a holistic approach. We strive to care for both mental and physical well-being which is why we provide services, and products, that help take care of both.

Alex The Barber
I began my journey as a barber 10 years ago, after picking up an interest while still in high school. I have now been licensed since 2015.
​
What caught my attention was how similar it was to art. With a good set of clippers and shears, I could not only change a persons look, but also give them a huge boost in confidence.
​
Currently I live in downtown Sarasota with my wife Pam and our 3 furry little friends.
Among my many interests, I particularly enjoy collecting watches, staying active, and drinking good coffee.

Owning a small business has always been a dream of mine, and now I get to experience it with my best friend next to me.

Pam The Stylist
I make up the second half of Montero Styles.

From a young age, I developed a strong love for art. I channeled that love through make-up and hair, whether that was being done on myself, others, or even on canvas.
​
That love continued to grow until my Hair Styling journey began 2014 at an Aveda Concept Salon in Riverview, Fl. Although I didn't become a licensed cosmetologist until 3 years after, that is where I began learning most of what I know now.
I began as merely a salon assistant, then front desk receptionist, and finally a Hair Stylist.
​
At a Beauty Industries Convention in 2018 is where Alex and I's love story began.
After getting married in March, 2020, we moved to downtown Sarasota.
​
To say I'm excited to start this new chapter in our lives would be an understatement. Getting to work along side my best friend, doing what we both love, is something I would only dream about.
